Technical silica gel is used as an adsorbent for drying and purifying air and other gases or vapors, for drying and clarifying certain liquids, as a carrier for catalysts, for other purposes and for export.
Depending on the shape of the grains, technical silica gel is produced in granular and lumpy, and depending on the porosity of the structure (pore radius, specific volume and specific pore surface) - finely porous and coarsely porous.
Granular fine-pored silica gel is produced in two grades:
KSMG - large;
ShSMG - charge.
Granular coarse silica gel is produced in four grades:
KSKG - large;
SHSKG - charge;
MSKG - small;
ASKG - activated.
Lump finely porous silica gel is produced in four grades:
KSMK - large;
ShSMK - charge;
MSMK - small;
ASMK - activated.
